PATH FORWARD CAMPAIGN

Donor Report 2017

Support. Grow. Innovate. Impact.

Message from the Chair

  • I am honored to sit as the current Chair on the Foundation for Amigos de las Américas, and I speak for the rest of the Board of Trustees when I express our gratitude for your gift to our organization. I would like to report back on how your gift to the Foundation has had a powerful and positive impact on AMIGOS.

    The Foundation for Amigos de las Américas exists to build and manage a strong foundation corpus that provides income to support AMIGOS as it grows and innovates. We present compelling opportunities to make a difference and inspire donors to support AMIGOS financially with significant gifts to the Path Forward Campaign.

    Our vision is to expand the reach of the AMIGOS mission and create increased access to our programs for all youth. In the last three years, we are proud that we have had an especially positive impact on AMIGOS in three areas:

    • Rapid and remarkable growth in financial assistance packages;
    • Successful marketing rebrand to help modernize outreach and recruitment efforts;and
    • Development of a targeted major gifts program with alumni events and outreach to support the Path Forward Campaign goals.

    We will launch the Path Forward Campaign into the public sphere later this year and are looking forward to sharing our goals and achievements with a larger audience. We are currently working hard to take our success forward into 2017 by increasing our investment in AMIGOS for organizational and regional growth and providing more financial assistance awards and endowments for the future.

    Thank you again for your faith and investment in AMIGOS. Your gift to the Foundation ensures that AMIGOS will have a long history and a sustained impact.

    Warm regards,

    Elizabeth Blowers-Nyman
    Chair, The Foundation for Amigos de las Américas

The Foundation's impact on AMIGOS increases each year as we garner the support of our alumni and broader networks.
